Stowwick began the way most storage stories do: with a closet that kept winning.
Our founders lived in a small apartment where the bedroom doubled as an office, the hallway doubled as a pantry, and the closet doubled as a chronic disappointment. Hangers let silk slide to the floor. Duvets colonized the top shelf. Drawer contents were, at best, folklore.
We didn’t need a bigger home. We needed better homes for our things.
So we started designing them – and named the project after the idea that stuck: a village for your things. Every product is a small building in that village. The hanger is the town coat rack. The vacuum bag is the winter house your duvet summers in. The drawer tray is the little row of shops where everything has an address.
How we choose what to make
